Jay Olmstead’s Credentials
Jay was hired by a national home inspector company in the year 2000. He was given six weeks of classroom training, along with several weeks of field training. After only six months in service, he was honored as the employee of the month. Next, he was selected for additional training at Temple University for the company’s expansion into commercial inspections. Two years later, he left the company to begin his own business. Jay has remained in the home inspection industry since 2000 and he loves it!

When it’s time to inspect your home, Jay knows that doing it by eyesight alone doesn’t cut it. Therefore, he also relies upon two very important industry tools to help ensure he catches everything.
Thermal Imaging – The innovative tool provides him with the ability to see leaks, insulation, and more. He can also find areas of heat loss, which can help you take control of your energy bill.
Moisture Meter – Jay pulls out his moisture meter when it’s time to look for any accumulations of moisture inside your home. This helpful tool can also lead him to related areas of mold accumulation.
